    Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of the drill and tap solution,so now that you mentioned it there is more confidence in the idea. Whats you thoughts on SAE 140 oil since the tractor is only used in warm weather, or will that inhibit the lubrication process??

    I have refurbished a 1956 john deere 60 wide front with power steering, and am close to starting it but need power steering oil. i hear these units are very fussy on the oil so my question is what is the right oil for refiling the system. thanks in advance for ant help.
