can you pull start a 180 3 speed with high and low range with multipower?

No. The Operator's Manual tells you a tractor with Multi-Power cannot be started by pushing or towing.

I tried and as I was told it would not start. But I had to try. I'm wondering If trying cause part of the issue that was and is going on with my 180. Does trying damage anything?

Nope. Just won't do any good. Straight 6 and 8 speed tractors can be pull started though.
