    Thanks..good tips. The steam was so bad at times, I would think all the coolant came out of the radiator cap. Must be mud clogged system.I could see water trickle from the cap at times. The tractor does smoke some, so maybe im burning the oil.(I have a oil leak at the governer and the valve...

    The only thing I can think it might be is the impeller in the water pump is beat up because of the gunk and its not pumping all it could. I would hate to replace the water pump and find out that wasnt the problem.
