    I think a 65 diesel is a 3 cylinder. The 172 is a 4 cylinder. Not sure it’s the same injector ports. The 172 tester is much bigger than the later models.

    I have tried the generic testers. The one for the ford is larger. I actually bought a set that was supposed to fit all diesels and they were the wrong size.

    International 886 air conditioning valve

    Thanks for the suggestion. I got brave and after spraying some valve with pb blaster, I put a vise grip on the shaft and it loosened up.

    Thanks. The port is covered and I am trying to turn the valve clockwise. Over the years, the valve stem end has rounded a bit and I can’t get a wrench on it I have tried a vise grip and applied some pressure, but no luck. I don’t want to break the valve stem unless I can get a replacement.

    I need to recharge my air conditoning. I have the original set up with a new compressor. I know that I need to uncap a valve and turn the valve stem a bit in order to add refrigerant.     Ford 4630 shuttle shift

    Thanks. I used the original bolt #9. I am guessing that #1 is not moving enough to turn the lever going into the transmission cover. I didn’t disturb the adjustment to #6.

    I had to remove the shuttle shifter and connecting rod from the 4630 to remove the cowling. When I put it back together, the shifter lever on the transmission lid moves slightly, but the transmission won’t go into gear. I suspect the connection at the bottom of the rod is not correct. Any...

    When I try to start the tractor, there is no cranking sound,but the gauges are activated on the dash.

    Thanks for the suggestion, but I’m not sure a battery issue would stop a diesel engine from running. I will check to make sure.

    Thanks for the reply. The pto is off. Also the engine does not crank when I try to start. The gauges turn of when I turn the key switch. I will check the voltage at the fuel solenoid.
