    Thanks. I used the original bolt #9. I am guessing that #1 is not moving enough to turn the lever going into the transmission cover. I didn’t disturb the adjustment to #6.

    Thanks for the suggestion, but I’m not sure a battery issue would stop a diesel engine from running. I will check to make sure.

    Thanks for the reply. The pto is off. Also the engine does not crank when I try to start. The gauges turn of when I turn the key switch. I will check the voltage at the fuel solenoid.

    I was mowing with my Ford 4630 and the engine just quit. When I turned the key to restart, nothing happened. The battery is good, there was plenty of diesel and the gear shifters were in the neutral position for restart. This happened to me several years ago and it turned out a mouse had eaten...

    I finally obtained the suggested parts and removed the top of the control valve. According to the parts schematic, there is a round washer at the top of the cover.     This is where I see the guild when tractor is running. It is just a film of fluid nothing is dripping out. This is where the fluid shows when the tractor is running. It isn’t dripping out. I just creates a film over the area shown.
