    Front timing cover seal and other questions

    Steve, the cover will come off without disturbing the governor. It is held in place by a large nut on the end of the camshaft. That aside, do everything John tells you and you won"t go wrong. Ron

    Hey guys, I am starting to do an "in frame" overhaul on my TO 35. I am wondering if the oil pan will drop straight down after all the bolts are out. It is iron and appears to be an integral part of the chassis. Does the tractor need to be jacked up slightly at either end to relieve any bind, or...

    Oil pan removal

    Hey guys, in order to remove the oil pan on my TO-35, does the front end have to come apart or off? I seem to remember that it appears that it will not, but the tractor is not where I can look right now. Thanks, RonW

    Z29 distributor

    Your problem will be what Jerry mentioned, in that the cam is moving. No clamp is going to hold down the dist until you make some repairs. I learned this the hard way.
