    I put a hose clamp on the part of the upper radiator hose to hold the thermostat in place. I used to get a lot of pressure in the upper hose to engine after shut down. I would hear the antifreeze rush through the hot engine a few minutes after shutdown. I think the heat of the motor caused this...

    I have had a similar problem in two of my TO's. One had a lot of crud in the tank. On a full tank, there must have been enought preasure to push the gas. The sloshing of the gas while driving would sometimes keep the gas flowing. I took the tank off and found dirt,rust, hay chaff,even a lead...

    When I was rebuilding the front spindles, I had to buy Ford N series bearings, not Massey. I think the arm that bolts to the spindle and moves it is a Ford part. Could the complete front axle be a Ford part?

    My starter blew up

    Take the starter to a shop that specializes in rebuilding starters. I had mine rebuilt for my TO's, Bobcat skidsteer, and F350 truck. All worked very well, and all were original,(which means very old, and well worn). They used parts that they wouldn't come back to haunt them.
