    There were, I believe, 2 wires left hanging from the old generator/alternator and 4 wires left hanging from the old voltage regulator. Not sure which ones you are referring to.

    There's no way I'm changing the cam bearings. I do not have the facility to pull the engine. As long as the cam bearings are there and in good condition I'm going with them.
