    Thanks. The bushing failed and the crank (C18777) actually broke into several pieces. I'm tending to agree that it's worth spending the money for a new part. Any used part would be as old as mine and aftermarket is always a little guesswork. Thanks for all the good info.

    Alright. Halfway there. Shaft pulled and eccentric cam removed. Now just need to find replacement.

    So far no luck finding a used or aftermarket part. Anybody have experience with the best way to separate the side shaft to remove the eccentric cam. I'm thinking I may have to remove the auger and gear box to get to it.

    I have a mid 70's Jd 34 manure spreader. The eccentric cam shredded. Anybody know the best way to remove it and secondly where I can find a used one. New eccentric cam is over $1100. Thanks
