    Warmed Up to 30F

At a high of 30 degrees yesterday was the warmest day in over a week so I took advantage of it. Pumped the summer diesel out of two tractor tanks and mixed in some fuel thinner/cetane booster so the fuel will flow this winter. The CIH Magnum I just filled up with summmer diesel as I don't plan...

    1850 diesel

I just acquired an 1850 diesel that has set for a number of years. I bought it for the fenders and the front wheels to use as upgrades on a couple of my other tractors. I got it running today. It starts and runs really well, even charges! It does have the typical flutter at higher RPMs...

    Re: Ford 2000 (4 cylinder) with Select-O-Speed

A NAA transmission is different than a 6/8X1 transmission. I have nothing against a SoS but would rather have 4 or 5 speed in that application .

Farmall c with 404 engine issues

I have my Grandfathers 1951 Farmall c, the engine in it when I got it was a c123 with a bad head, I replaced it with a c135 from a 404 so I could pull my mower. The c135 runs at 2,300 rpms the original c113 ran at 1,875 rpms so I wanted to run the c135 at about 2,100 to not get too far above the...

    Massey Harris 33 Distributor

I recently purchased a 33 Massey with a late production serial number. I notice it has a Delco distributor on it. Is this common to the 33 or is this something someone cobbled on? Tractor runs fine with it, but I am used to Masseys having autolite ignition components. Thanks for any insight.
