    I have a 55 steering box on the bench and went out to look for the mentioned holes. Couldn"t find "em. On mine, which has a worm shaft housing that is about 13 1/4 long to the top of the housing there is one hole that is plugged by a 1/4" screw that could be used to lube the upper worm shaft...

    880 Oliver Governor

    Check the preload from the governor arm to the carb throttle plate-- should be 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch. This seats the throttle plate and allows the governor to open up slower

    770 power booster

    I have a power booster that won"t hook up in the underdrive mode. Got it torn down and can see no problem. Good sprags, gear surface OK but it won"t grab consistently when I do a hand turn on the input shaft. Took another sprag clutch I got off E-bay, good except for (hold your breath) one...

    How difficult is it to reverse the polarity on the stock positive ground to get a negative ground and be able to keep the gen driven power steering pump on the tractor?
