Removing sleeves from a Case SC

I found it pretty easy to wrap my crank journals with leather sleeves or something to protect them and use 1/16 inch welding rods with welder set just enough to strike an arc then run 4 beads at the quarter points from the bottom of the sleeve to the top of the sleeve this will shrink the sleeve...

    Block Heater

I agree with wore out. Leaving it on all the time wont hurt anything. First of all it cant thermally run away, think about it if it warms up close to the opening point of the thermostat it will just circulate cooler water in to be heated and that which is warm will be cooled in the radiator. Heat...

    3point lift

On our 100 series tractors (165,175) theres two levers for the 3 point the outside one had a round top and is coupled through the top link for ground engaging implements and was sensitive to draft control. The in side one had a more square top referred to as the quadrant that is used for...

MF 135 Cant get in 2nd or 3rd gear

I agree with the sentiment that it is stuck between gears small pry bar through the oil fill cap of transmission. It tends to happen when you shift the lever and dont realize your lifting up on it a little bit always have downward pressure on the shifter ball and youll find that wont happen

    44 massey harrris

As a 12-13 year old I used the hand clutch often on my grandfathers 333 with a case 220 square baler and wagon behind when the windrows were bigger than the baler could swallow saved many shear bolts with that hand clutch. However dont know how many times I almost tossed my grandfather off the...

    cleaning tankless coil

I have a boiler with a plate style heat exchanger for separate domestic hot water heating and my father has a boiler with a coil inserted in the vessel that can be removed. Ive cleaned them both with a acid called Calci-solve. I buy it at a local plumbing supply store. I was told about it by a...

I know you said you didnt want another trip to the store but if you use this product you wont be sorry! It dries quickly and wont shrink goes on pink turns white when dry. Then just wipe over it with a damp cloth and its ready to paint in an hour or less depending on temperature in the house.

    Harrow Attachments

Depending on field residue as already mentioned on our cleaner fields before sowing alfalfa,we just tied both ends of an old logging chain to the back corners of the harrow and left it drag, then when we were done and ready to move to the next field we just tossed it up on the harrow and...

    Welcome to the crib...

Looks a lot like the ice block storage houses we used to have here in the north east! There was one standing for many years not far from my home. The usual tell tale sign is copius amounts of saw dust around the base.
