    It starts and runs fine at low rpm but misses and has no power at higher speeds. Also has oil leaks. Potentially would like to look at a paint job. It's a 55 model. Engine overhauled in 1988 and hasn't been worked hard since then. Are you around Salina?

    WD 45

    WD 45 starts great, idles a little rough but drives ok up to about 1/3 throttle. Real rough rest of the way up. New coil, plugs and wires. Tank drained and cleaned, fuel line and carb blown out. Over all seems like fuel starvation. Would this be a matter of manifold leak? Any suggestions?

    Thanks for all of your responses. At the moment I am leaning to K&M with a mechanical suspension kit that replaces the old hydr. system and has an adapter plate that lets us use the old seat. Instructions make it sound like reasonably doable. Says it provides parts to cap off the hydr. lines...
