    what is it

    We bought a TE20 new but I can not remember the year. It had the Z120 contnental engine. A few years later we boght the TO30. I had the TO30 up untill Oct. 2002. Had it for a good 50 years and no major problems. steve

    will 5030 pull 10ft disk

    We pulled an 11'Krause tandem with a SM Farmall. Mostly 3rd gear. satkins

    Ford 660 verses 8n

    We had a later Ford 2000 which I termed a glorified 8N. The 2000 had the 3cyl gas engine,4x2 transmission,lpto, It did not handle a 2 bottom plow very well but then alfalfa ground is hard to break up. But we had an 800 for the heavier work. satkins

    Starting problem

    I will go with a weak battery and the starting when you let up on the starter. I learned that with my SM. I wouldnt even have to use the choke when starting. Just use it to keep it running untill it warmed up some. satkins

    TO-30 cracked blocks.

    We,Dad bought a TE20 when they first came into Central NE. 1947-48 somewhere in there. And in 1952 bought a 1952 TO30. Both tractors were bought new. WE had the T030 untill 2002 and the TE20 untill the late 1950's. Never cracked the block on either one. satkins
