    806 IH

We also have an 806 wide front row crop with International badges on the side panels. I have always be baffled by it. It is a earlier model with a generator but does not have the early RD pump. I also would be interested to know why.

    Farmall 400 seasonal disconnect decal

Just got the Farmall 400 back from being painted and she looks great! We are installing the decal kit and I have Guy Fay's book where it shows exact placement for the decals. This tractor has a seasonal disconnect for the PTO. There is a decal for it and i would like to know where it goes...

    7140 head lights

Yes I was able to pull the stem out just by hand. Once you pull it out you will see. It is kind of tight but you can do it. I would like to meet the guy who came up with that set up. HA

    7140 head lights

It is tight but i just changed one. There is a metal stem that you just pull out. Once you get it out you can change the little bulb and then the stem assy. pushes back in and snaps in place. Good luck.

400 Farmall hood side emblem issue

We are finishing up a restoration on a 1955 400. We decided to get all new stainless emblems and have ran into an issue with the "FARMALL" emblem on each side of the hood. The old emblems had only 4 retaining pins and the new ones have 7 pins and spring clips to fasten to the hood. I called the...

Case 446 with 16 hp onan pumping oil into the carb.

I believe it was for a gear reduction case application and they used that passage to lube a bearing and it was orificed down. In our application it mainlines into the timing gear case from the oil pump and will fill the gear case up until the oil has to go somewhere and ends up pumping out the...

Case 446 with 16 hp onan pumping oil into the carb.

Had one rebuilt once for a JD 316. It would do the same thing when it was over 1/4 throttle. It would push oil into the air filter box it you ran it hard. I checked everything and I ended up finding that the timing cover gasket has a tab that is supposed to cover a oil passage on one side for a...

    400 Char Lynn steering pump

Sorry about lack of details. The Char Lynn belt driven power steering pump is leaking on my Farmall 400. I found a similar power steering pump on line that is looks just like it at a fraction of the cost of other replacements. It says it is for a 60s Ford Thunderbird or Mustang and it looks just...

    400 Char Lynn steering pump

Will a 60s ford pump be the same pump for as the Char Lynn pump set up? Amazon has these for a little over 100 bucks and i am wondering if it would work.

    Playing with the 1650

Did some plowing yesterday finally. I wore ear plugs the whole time and had a ball. The neighbor commented on how good and mean she sounded and said he loved it. He even took a video of the old girl in action. All worth it i guess.
