The filter is, or has been rendered to just a screen.....and the parts houses around here look like you've got a third eye when you come in with requests like this o_O

wd45 power steering reservoir gasket search

I've got a wd45 with Char-Lynn power steering, and the reservoir lid will simply not seal. I had a cork gasket in it, and I'm looking for a rubber one, but I have no idea where to get one. Anyone know a source for these? I've got a feeling that cutting my own will just be a recipe for...

    801 6v pos ground problems

One Standard regulator from Orileys, and she's charging at 6.9 volts. Good to go. Thanks for the advice Jeff!

    801 6v pos ground problems

Yup, taking weight off the spring takes all weight off. I can't take enough weight off without loosing all tension. They're not stretched enough to adjust lighter.

    801 6v pos ground problems

If I go with another, it'll be a Standard. I'm going to try adjusting the point gap first to see if I can get down another half volt

    801 6v pos ground problems

Well, I tried to adjust it, and only got down to 8 volts. Looks like the spring is too long and too strong to get it any further down. Plan on returning it and get another.

    801 6v pos ground problems

the 'new to me' 851 is giving me issues in the charging department, and I need some advice. When I got her, she was pretty abused. The 6v genny sounded pretty rough and didn't work (light stayed on), so I go to NAPA and get a new regulator. Presto, she works now! 2 hours run time later, the...

    801 gas gauge wiring

so the gas gauge wasn't hooked up when I got my 851, and all the wiring diagrams I find don't match. How do I wire this? Top of the pic is the top of the gauge. I'm guessing top hot, middle float, and one of the bolt posts to ground?

    801 left brake rod

ya, there's been a problem for a while apparently. Just got her running (new to me), and the left brake sticks through the rod pretty bad. I'll fix that pto this winter before it gets ran again, change all the fluids and top everything up.

    801 left brake rod

Can anyone tell me, or give a picture of the left brake rod as it goes through the tractor? I'm trying to figure out if it passes through a compartment, or is isolated. Mine sticks through the tractor. I'm full of hydraulic fluid, and I'm betting I'm real low on rear end oil. Filling when I...

Working on my Ford 19-105 Front End Loader.

That's what I'm referring to. They're hitch pins, or clevis pins, but the cotter key hole is too small for the retaining bolt, so it'd have to be drilled out. At least it's a pilot hole

What do you folks do for the pins? When I got mine, the guy has driven a long drift into a bucket pin location (I was going to drill and cut a 1" clevis pin the right size )
