Is it time to check the health of your tractor batteries
One of my chargers will tell me the voltage and then the percent of charge. The last 2 times I charged one battery it read less than 11 voltages and less than 5 percent. I think its not going to be of any value to me, except as a trade in.- SDE

Starter questions
Use a jumper cable and go from the battery terminal directly to the starter. If the engine rolls over, the starter is good. Or you could go from the solenoid lug that the battery cable attaches to and go directly to the starter. I have the ford style solenoid with two small terminal. You can...- SDE

flaring brake lines
I went to the garage and got the line. Looking down at it from the top and then rotating it, I can see that the tapered edge is bigger on one side that the other. I don't think one picture will show it clearly enough. I think that it will work, but I don't think that it is a top quality repair... -

Your description is exactly how I attempted the flare. The last one I tried to form was on a copper/ nickel line. It formed easily enough. If I set it straight up in the air and then put a straight edge on the top of the flared end, it would not be setting level. I am getting better at posting... -

I checked the price of brake fluid at the parts store and then I went TSC. It was the same price. Our TSC is pet friendly. knowledge is worth sharing but.....
WE had a co worker who had a back injury from a motorcycle accident. He made it back to work, but he had to take a lot of pain meds. Eventually he regretted coming back to work. He was taking so many meds that he admitted that he should not be driving, let alone be working in a factory. And...- SDE
