    Steps for my 4020?

I built my own. I do not like the look of the new style steps. 84 year old dad loves them for tractor drives.

Took a picture of my tractors

Yesterday. 63' 3010D, 63' 4010D, 69' 4020D, 75' 4430 (was dad's). As I was taking the picture, it struck me that this was pretty much the same line-up that dad farmed with 45 years ago. I learned on the 3010 and 4010, spent the most hours in the 4430. Glad to have it back in the family.

Scootergmc, thank you for the info. Bought the pair on Amazon prime, put them on tonight, seem to be doing the trick. Thanks again!

Snap-on KR-691 Top Box lid struts

Hello all. I do not have access to a dealer directly, so I thought I would ask here. I have a used snap on KR-691 top tool box missing the lid struts. I have done an online search, and get several different part numbers. Does anyone here know the actual part number? OR the specs of the...

    Steps for a 3010

August of 25' my youngest son and my dad went on a tractor drive, son on my 4020, dad on my 3010. After they got back to our place and my dad left, my son said, "Dad, you have to something for a step for Grandpa." So, this weekend I finally had some time to get after it. I do not like the look...

So what do I want, tractor wise.

Skid loader. If you are not going to use as a mower, using it to clean out low post barn, size, 4wd, hydro, only thing missing would be 3 pt., but they seem to make every attachment for them nowadays. Just my $.02 and I don't even own a skid loader. Best of luck. Mike

Waiting for an opportunity to buy that tractor or piece of equipment

In 2009, I restored a model N manure spreader for my dad to pull in my hometown's 125th. I received a manual with it and in the back was 1 or 2 pages talking about a "feeder wagon attachment" and it had a couple of illustrations. 2 years later, I found one near one of the towns I work in and...

    Columbian 505 vise replacement jaws

Here is a photo of a vise like the one I am trying to repair. Half of the top of the left jaw is broken and gone. No crack, just gone. I probably could cut the break clean and v-out and weld in a piece, but then how do I harden it? Just looking for a better idea.

    Columbian 505 vise replacement jaws

Thank you for the link, but I have looked at these types, and they are not tall enough. The jaws of this vise are about 1 1/3" tall, and are the full height of the cast part of the jaw, just not the top half.

    Columbian 505 vise replacement jaws

Neighbor brought me an old, very large, heavy Columbian model 505 vise with one of the jaws badly broken. He asked me if I could fix it for him. I found a place online that sells them for $169.95 + shipping. These jaws are NOT the bolt in style. They are in the shape of a "T" with the leg of...

    What do you get...

When you cross parts from a John Deere model 47 loader, a roof from a 6600 combine, and a guy that doesn't want to spend $2K for a canopy support and canopy? I still need to grind, sand blast and paint the canopy, and I was a week and a half behind schedule for the canopy, but turned out ok for me.

    3010/3020 engine replacement question

Just saw this on a web site, and was wondering if this engine could be made to fit a 3010/3020? More curious than anything. Thanks Mike
