1973 Ford 3000 Power Steering issue
Hello, my Ford 3000 keeps needing more Hyd oil in the Power Steering pump, but I don’t see a leak. Is it possible for it to be leaking on the backside into the Crankcase? If so, is there a seal back there that can be replaced by an Average Joe? Thanks, Don- ShadyRun

Ford 3000 appears to be stuck in draft mode
Okay, let me ask this. When I move the lever from position to draft, I can feel pressure and it does click like it did move internally. It is still possible it could be worn on the inside even though it feels like it is switched? -

I tried all the easy stuff, changed fluid, bleed the pump Tractor will not hold a bush hog in position mode. It will pick it up quickly and firmly. Then if you try to keep your mower an inch or 2 off the ground, it wont do it. If you move the lever to half way, it goes all the way down? Any... -

3 point position control
The draft control position worked while plowing, then switched it to position control for the bush hog, then the problem started -

New Day, new problems. Ford 3000. In draft control, tractor did great. Put on Bush hog and moved to position control. Tractor will raise mower up all the way with no hesitation. Letting it down into mowing position, it will only go all the way down. No in between, unless you work it just... -

Hello, I have a leak around the cover that goes where the PTO handle engages. Is that a gasket around that plate? Is it hard to remove? Thanks in advance -

Ford 3000, leaking hydraulic fluid really bad at the cylinder shaft that runs thru the Tractor from base of clutch pedal to the Brake pedals. Is this hard to replace. I have the steps off,just wondering how hard it is to remove that cylinder Thanks in advance Don -
