    My Cat 955 K knocks at slow idle, as I bump the RPM up it will stop. Runs great at the higher RPM's Anyone care to comment on possible reasons? Timing is what comes to my mind, firing early, before piston TDC. I've only had the machine for a short while, just try not to idle it where it does it.

    I've developed a problem with the gear shift leaver getting stuck in R1 on a '68 2000. I've had the leaver plate off several times now and it appears as if the shift leaver may be moving too far past the dog it pushes to put it in R1, (if that makes any sense to anyone.), and hanging on it...

    I have a 6 forward 4 reverse trans, I'm gonna buy the 5 gal bucket, should be enuf. The plug I find is on the right side almost a foot behind the junction. do you think that's the one?
