    Is a MF 285 Diesel a Good Tractor?

    Run it hot a little you will blow the head gasket, the bushing in the steering needs replacing a long with steering motor or you will wobble, over steer, under steer, go crooked, can't hold it straight. Other than that it is a good tractor pto brake will go too.

    285 hydraulic FILTER

    How do I get the hydraulic filter out to clean. I took the bottom plate off and drained the fluid. I just can not get my hands in there. It has a big cast iron head on bottom of it with a couple of springs attached. HELP I can not figure it out! Thanks, any help will be appreciated!
