    Jim / Matthies, There is 12V to the wire that lands on the R terminal with the key on.....no power on the terminal with the wire removed.

    Correct. The only time I have voltage on the S terminal is when the starter button is pushed with the key on. I am however only getting 6v. I installed a new wire to the coil in place of the resister wire (will need to install an inline resister) and am getting 12V to the coil with the key...

    The S terminal is only seeing voltage when the key is on. This makes sense in regards to the resistance wire. The wire has obviously be altered in the past.....would a new wire from the harness to the coil with an inline resistor be an acceptable replacement?

    Farmall 656 Front Tire Size

    I will be replacing the front tires on a Farmall 656 and would like a larger tire with additional capacity. The current 7.5L-15's are underwhelming...both looks and capacity when the loader is in use. Would a 9.5L-15 be too large for 6" wide wheels? Open to any suggestions and photos. Thanks,

    I just have the single seal replacement....although i am tempted to stack (2). After loosing the coupling, I really don't want to risk another $70 gasket to reinstall the coupling.

    When changing out a PTO seal, i had the coupler on the end of the PTO shaft end up in the bottom of the rear end. I am tempted to install a set screw to hold it onto the end of shaft for future projects. Has anybody done similar. Also, is a gasket required or is there a suitable gasket maker...
