    Case 310 - Carb and Oil Pan Question

    hi, I have found some inexpensive carbs online and want to see if there is a good replacement. Does someone know the model number of my carb? also wasn't sure of the oil pan gasket I should order. I believe mine is a 310C as it has the hydraulic controls in the dash and is a gasoline 4 cyl.

    I was able to get the new belt installed. I did need to jack up the engine to allow the hydraulic bracket to slide out a little. In the process, the oil pan got crushed a little and will need to be re-welded.

    hi, the exhaust elbow on mine cracked, and I ordered a new one at Steiner, and new exhaust manifold. I received the new elbow but its slightly larger than the original and will not fit. does anyone know where I can find a replacement elbow?

    I'm gonna give it a try with a normal belt - i'll hammer it through the small gap at the ends of bolts - if it won't go then for sure i'll sue the link belt.     sounds good. the radiator is out of the vehicle being cleaned and flushed. and I ordered a new water pump so the only thing in the way is the bolts.

    I did what you said... there is a decent gap, but the bolts seem to limit the gap. So, i cut the old belt as it's a wide one. I'm hoping the new belt will be a little narrower or more plyable. Do you know the exact belt size and type to order

    Awesome Photo!! I drew a red cloud around an area i'm curious about. mine has a rod dangling from the rear ballast - it looks like its supposed to mount to the right side of seat? what is the purpose of that rod/bracket?

    now it makes sense! the previous owner to mine must have modified it with the above cowl air cleaner/oil bath. it did seem a little weird to have it mounted on top of the cowl.
