    Is it difficult to change from the standard horizontal exhaust to a vertical exhaust on a side mount distributor 8N? Is there anything that must be taken into consideration? Anyone that's done it have any pictures?

    My oil pump went out and I decided instead of just fixing the oil pump I'm going to just go through the whole engine. I finished tearing it down tonight and taking the block to get boiled tomorrow.

    My tractor has a 12 volt negative ground system. I was having some electrical issues so I decided to rewire the entire tractor. I also bought a 12 volt coil. Do I still need the resistor? Why or why not? what was it for originally?

    There is a product called Nevr-Dull that we used in the Navy to polish brass. It works on copper as well. I believe you can get it at Walmart.

    RPMs on older machines with no proof meter ?

    https://www.harborfreight.com/digital-photo-sensor-tachometer-66632.html If you really need to know your RPM. I'm one of those that likes to have an actual number. I blame it on being an engineer.
