    I can only call this a forged data plate. Unless someone can point me to a Massy-Harris 102 SS. Serial # doesn't jive with a 102 either. Serial #'s are to randomly placed and misaligned for factory going by the rest of my data plates.

    Didn't get any water out but there was 7 1/3 gallons of fluid just to bring it down to the full mark at the sight hole on the side. No wonder it leaked !!

    A felt seal! Go figure. Any idea as to replacement ones? Or remove it, clean it spotless and coat with RTV or such ?

    Question on the PTO output shaft. The engagement rod above the PTO shaft leaks oil something terrible. Rear deck plate is covered and is a real safety issue. Is there an O ring or normal type seal on the inside for this shaft? If so any idea of finding replacement?

    That may be the only option. Not that I don't have a sacrificial socket or two to use.

    Problem isn't with extention or ratchet as even with turning socket by hand it only rides on the wall of the jug not allowing sockets to drop down far enough.

    Thanks guys. Seller got back to me with a picture of the tractor data plate. Its a 1951 UTS as suspected. $400 and with any luck I can drive it home as its only 10 miles from here. How often does that happen? And to T.R.K. , I'm in Southern Saskachawan exactly 72 miles from Montana border.
