    I hav a 1965 MF 135 Perkins gas eng that I think came with a generator. Previous owner put a alternator on it and it does not charge. Has original wiring and and voltage regulator and not sure how to wire it properly for alternator. Anyone seen this before? What is the best way to proceed...

    It has two wires connected. External voltage regulator. It is a 1965 MF 135 with Perkins gas engine. Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot it? Thanks

    Voltage

    I have a MF 135 with perkins gas and alternator. The battery reads 12.5 volts across when not running. When it is running it reads 12.25 volts across the battery and from alternator. Is this enough to keep the battery charged? Is the voltage regulator bad? Thanks for any input

    MF135 won't start

    MF 135 with Perkins gas engine won't start. Was running good, just quit. With key off position there is spark at the points when you put a feeler gauge to adjust points. Any suggestions? I am not good with electrics

    MF 135 won't run

    MF 135 with Perkins gas engine. Weak spark, yellow from coil. Won't run at all, ether will not get it to run which tells me ignition. Going to replace condenser, ordered new coil. Any other ideas what to check? Thanks

    Top radiator hose

    Any suggestions on the easiest way to replace the top radiator hose on MF 135, Perkins gas. Got it almost on with gas tank still on. Won't go any further. How does the gas tank come off? Only see I bolt in front on the left side? Two in the back. Any input greatly appreciated.
