50 8N overheating
First off - thanks again for any/all replies. Long time consumer of 75 tips and this forum.. Den n MS - may be onto something - it's definitly an old 12v car alt. Got a new fan belt when I put on the water pump and it wouldnt fit the narrower pulley on the alt. Old belt is tight to 1/2...- SlowCredit

50 8N overheating
Have fired the parts cannon and am stuck. Ran great last two years - this year overheats after running only 5-10 minutes - load makes no difference. Have installed new water pump, hoses, belt, radiator and felpro head gasket. No love - still boils over after 5-10 min. Definitely overheating...- SlowCredit

8N quits when hot

8N quits when hot
1950 - Starts first crank every time. Runs like a top. Gets hot, stops running after 30-45 min (depending on load). Restarts when cooled down. Replaced coil and condenser - no change. It's 12V - I didn't do the change, it's been solid the 2 seasons I've owned it. Reading old posts, looks...- SlowCredit

Help ID finish mower
It's definitely plan b - would like to be able to ID so I can see if I can find the blades - the ones I have are in rough shape and are just about worn out. I might be able to find someone with a lathe and get the standoff turned down to 1" from 1-3/8. Or I guess I could put blades with a 1"...- SlowCredit

Help ID finish mower
Picked up an old finish mower. 5'. Deck is solid, but hubs-spindles are no good. Hinged flaps on sides and rear. 3 spindles and 2 pulleys. Gearbox seems solid. Only has wheels on back. Anyone have an idea what this is? Or better yet, where I can find a 3 bolt spindle (5.25 center to center...- SlowCredit
