    I bought it not running it has 465 hrs on it as far as I can tell no one has been in it. Changed the o rings on standpipe took off side plate to see I could see anything

    Yes , I have a compatible oil for permatran lll. When I drain the oil out and than crank the motor lift will raise higher. I only run it for 5 seconds don’t want to burn something up! Thanks for you help

    the lever hanging down from the top moves forward and rearward when the draft and position levers are moved. With the engine off the roller follows the linkage. As as the engine is started the roller moves all the way forward away from the link. Moving it rearward manually has no effect. It pops...

    I have dropped the plate and replaced the filter with a new one, I have not seen a screen!

    When you say screen are you meaning a filter? Because I have not seen a screen under that cover only a filter!
