    Starter ring gear removal...MAP gas??

    Thats the one im referring to is the small coleman propane-sized bottle. Wasnt thinking it would quite do it but hadnt tried much with Map as of yet. Do like it for the things i have tried, but didnt know what the limits on the small ones would be...

    Stupid question... i am in need of replacing the starter ring gear on the flywheel of my 8N. I dont have an acetylene torch here, so i was curious...has anyone tried MAP gas for this? any luck? just wondering if it was worth a try. thanks in advance.

    Hey Rich, a few years ago you had showed/told me the wiring setup on a single wire gm alternator when you pop the rubber plug on side of alternator housing and wire in the other 2 wires and etc. Working on a 1949 8N 12V....can you bring me back up to speed on this? gettin older and havin way too...

    Quick question... on my 8N ford...ive had ok luck with champions plugs... then tried autolites with much disappointment. now ive got the options of buying motorcraft, ac delco, or NGK this round. What do yall find to be the BEST or what i need/want that will hold up longest? thanks in advance.
