    Moving snow on the cheap

I needed a cheap and better way to move snow this year after the large amount of it we had last year here in Western Wisconsn. I own a Ford 8N, that was not being used and was stored at my Brothers. I found an old 7 1/2 foot Myer plow on Marketplace to mount on the 8N. It needed work and I...

    Had to laugh at this

[size=18:ff2d36c740]We do the same thing. Wife will call and say there's a warning light on, and I tell her to send a photo. Never got one like this though. [/size:ff2d36c740]

A John Deere B with some family history.

That was a John Deere wire tie side discharge square baler. I don't recall the model number, but those bales were very large and heavy. Dad had 2 of them and both were sold at the farm auction in 2006.

A John Deere B with some family history.

A few weeks ago my Granddaughter wanted to ride on my John Deere B. So I took it out of the shed and gave her a ride. Of course, Grandma had to take pictures and this got me to thinking about some of the other photos I had of it somewhere. This 1949 B has been in the family for many years...

    The sound of Power

I really like the sound of a steam engine working. A few weeks ago I went to the 2018 Rice County Steam and gas engine show in Dundas, Minnesota and saw this fine engine plowing. Make sure your sound is on. A Case Steam Engine plowing at the 2018 Rice County Steam and gas engine show.

    Need help Identifying this Implement

Thanks for the information. My next question is, Would anyone want it? My Friend said he would give it to anyone that would come and get it and not scrap it. It belonged to his brother that passed away and he is the trying to clean up the place for sale. It is located near Minneapolis, MN.

    John Deere model

    Reminds me of the old George Jones song. Hotter than a two dollar pistol. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/CWSJAdzVBj0" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Original invoice for a 1933 Ford Truck

I posted this before, but am still wondering about this invoice the owner's son gave me when I purchased the truck back in 1986. Was Hayes and Andrews a dealership or a company buying this truck for their fleet? The date of the invoice is 10/24/33, but not sure what the TW after the date...

    OT-Funny Story

Yes they did, just this last July 1st. I guess they were losing too much money to Wisconsin.

    OT-Funny Story

I saw a posting here about different beers in Minnesota. Grain Belt, Hamms and Schmidt were the most popular when I was a kid, and my Dad had no favorite. But it reminded me of the following incident: When I was young, my family and my 80 some year old Great Aunt and her foster son were...

    Tractor painter

Does anyone know a good tractor painter in southern Minnesota or Western Wi. This is a John Deere 3020 with good sheet metal but the color has faded to teal color. This is still a working tractor but would like it to look good.
