    What the heck kind of pin do i need for this stupid thing ?? Cat 1 fits left side but cat 2 is to big for the right side. Is it an IH specific pin?

    I doubt I'll ever have to change them again but I don't have much of a choice having to change the threads one the one set of shafts.

    The re-threading route is i think where I'm going at this point. I'm Going to take the rods to a machine shop and have them do it for me, I don't want to take a chance on messing up the rods. The 7/16 joint is a 7/16 UNF on the bolt part the where the rod screws into is a 7/16 UNEF or 7/16-28...

    I have a thingy from a tap and die set. It is definitely not UNF but is 7/16 I think. Going to my local nut and bolts place to confirm all sizes and thread sizes today.

    Range. Some mental tapping and prying got it out of reverse. Use a half can of lubricant in all the moving parts and it helped a lot. Still want linkages.

    Ok guys got it unstuck but now totally confused on the linkage ends. One is 3/8-24 unfortunately the other one has 2 different thread types. The female connection is 7/16-32, I think definitely 7/16, and the male end is 7/16-20 UNF. Does this make sense ?

    Post driver hook up on IH 584…

    I get it, the valve assembley on the post driver doesn't flow through. Might be as simple as changing the valve assembley on the post driver or replumb it so it flows through. I had to changet the valve assembley on my wood splitter for the same reason.

    484 rear hydraulic port

    Can anyone tell me if the rear hydraulic outlets are continuous flow??. I have a 3 pt wood splitter the I want to do some plumbing on. It will require continuous flow.

    I just tried CIH parts online for the ball joint ends and bushings, all marked obsolete. Any ideas on trying to find replacements. Tractor is 2+ hrs away so taking one of each off to measure is kinds out of the question.
