Yes, it is 4WD with a FEL. Presuming the relief valve is the one on the side of the pump, that was quite free. Don't think a conversion would be cost effective. It's odd how it happened now when I've had the tractor for several years -

My power steering had been going OK for a while after it blew the gasket last time. I replaced the gasket but when I tried tightening the bolts to the specified torque (40ftlb/55nm - from the repair manual, p.1232) one of them sheared so I didn't tighten the rest that tight. Is this why my... -

Rocker cover gasket - should I use sealant on it? Ford 6610 power steering
My power steering always worked but used to lose fluid. I noticed quite a bit seeping out around the rocker cover gasket and then the other day, it started pouring out. I discovered the gasket was shredded. I fitted a temporary gasket, which worked for a bit but has now let all the oil out... -

Been having a mare with my tractor. Power steering stopped working and I'm hoping the shredded gasket was the culprit. Temporary cork/Hylomar gasket holding up OK but then it wouldn't start. Eventually, it did get going, not sure how, and was up in the field when it just completely cut out... -

Before I install it - is the plunger supposed to be able to come out of the solenoid (as in detach)? It was delivered with a screw cap, which I presume was there as the plunger isn't directly attached. Also, when I remove the plug on the top of the fuel pump, is fuel going to rush out and will... -

It allows someone to shut the tractor off in case of emergency. Not sure how quickly it will stop, especially as to run the PTO at 540rpm, the engine needs to turn at 1900rpm (which sounds awfully fast) -
