Ford 6610 starter negative connection

My starter stopped working and after a lot of faffing about and expense, I finally just bought another one. Checked all the part numbers and pictures on the ebay listing, but the one they sent doesn't have a dedicated M8 terminal on the end for the negative cable. It has 2 M5 threaded holes, or the M6 bolts that hold the motor together.

I need this tractor working TODAY and assuming it fits at all, where else can I attach the battery negative cable? The eye on it is not big enough to fit on the mounting bolts for the starter

Only one or two of mine have that ground terminal. All of mine have the ground wire attached to one of the mounting bolts. Can you drill out the eye of the ground wire to fit? Should already be close...
