    Carb Question

    I will give you that all the fuel passages are the same but the main throats on the A B G carbs are different ID's . The throttle disk on the A/G are the same size but the B carbs are smaller.

    Google lee valley knife sharpening belts 1 x 30 or 42 . I use 320 500 1000 1500 leather belt in that order and it's crazy sharp! But use the right belts or it won't work well . May even youtube belt sanded knife sharpening.

    Old school electrical guys will tell you that is ok but 260 volts is to high. In today's world of vfd's the circuits won't hold up vs old school stuff that used NEMA magnetic starters, with pot switches. The vfd plays with hertz (cycle rates) to control speed.     pressure checking Pinned head

    My 1949 G head was cracked going into the intake valves and needed repair. The machine shop pinned and install harden seats but I still get water in the cylinders . I build a plate and pressure checked the head to 20 lbs but what I get is air leaks around the pins and a lot coming from the seat...

    Markings on 1950 John Deere A Crank

    Opened the crankcase cover last nite and inked in white letters between the rods was "375" . Does this mean anything ? Thanks
