    SUPER MTA

How about just putting it in 5th gear with the TA lever forward and giving it a pull around the barn until it starts? Experienced drivers required.

    dry sleeves

I may try the Loctite or a block sealer. Not sure I want to try the liquid nitrogen and foil. Thanks for the ideas.

    dry sleeves

I put a set of sleeves in a 450 engine by warming the cylinder bores with trouble lights and chilling the sleeves in a freezer. They went in easy, maybe too easy. Three of them went in without any force required. I had cleaned the bores and the outside of the sleeves with paint thinner before...

    marks in cylinder bore

    450 oil pickup

I noticed that the oil pickup screen on the c281 engine seems to have an odd angle relative to the bottom of the oil pan. It swings up and down freely but the tube the screen is attached to is flattened and dented. It looks like the oil flow might be restricted by the flat part. I am not sure...

    450 oil pressure

What is the normal oil pressure range for a farmall 450, idle to 1450 rpm? That info is not readily available online. Thanks in advance.

    emblem pins

Some of the emblem attachment pins have come off the back of the stainless steel emblems on my 450 farmall. They appear to be brass with one end flattened for attachment to the back of the emblems. How can they be reattached without damaging the emblems? Is there a glue strong enough to do...
