    cub transmission problem

    hi, I did a dumb thing. I quick shifted my cub from first to reverse and back. the result is a loud clicking noise in first and reverse, but not in second or third. took the cover off but don't see anything obviously wrong. any ideas? thanks andy

    in the book it looks like there are shoe and drum brakes at the front wheels. it does show a band type brake around the shaft but it definitely is a shoe at the wheel. I just need to take it apart andy

    hi tim, your saying the band around the driveshaft in the transmission is the main brake and the shoe brakes operate like those of a tractor to turn tight right or left?

    if you had a choice between a tox o wik and a farm fan grain dryer, which would you choose?

    hi, I am looking for a small batch grain dryer and someone suggested a tox o wik. he said that it didn't matter how much or little grain you put in, it would dry it. you didn't have to fill it up or add more while its drying like you do with a farm fan. is that true. andy

    in the repair manual I can see the shoe like brake for the transmission, but the picture for the wheel brake I only see the shoes and not the disc. where would the disc be?

    hi, I haven't taken the brakes apart yet but they don't work. the repair manual shows it has brake shoes but the when I look for parts they only list a disc. is there a serial number break or where can I get shoes if I need them?
