4520 john deere tractor
the year of this tractor is a 2010 - 2013 JD compact tractor, 4520. I have not checked the filters, the transmission has plenty of fluid (which is clean) & has about 500 hrs on it. I removed the linkage shifter & put a center punch into the shifting rod that comes out of the side of the...- stoneydc

I need help regarding the hydromatic transmission. It will not stay in either low or high gear...mid gear stays in. Checked out linkage, & oil, both seem fine. Would appreciate any suggestions with this problem. Don- stoneydc

I need Help please I have a 2010 yr.John Deere compact model 4520 Hydromatic. It will not stay in low or high range gears but it will stay in mid range gear. I checked the linkage on the transmission. Any ideas.- stoneydc
