    I just picked up a new one from DB elctrical ordered it online works great since the old one had nothing left in side the windings were brunt up.I think it was around $80. dbelectrical.com

    up date on genny. Well I took it out and opened it up and LOL nothing left of the windings no insulation left and the arm don't look much better so I guess I will be buying a new one. How can i tell if the cutout is ok or bad? And as far as the resistor if that was bad it would not start right?

    Hmmmmm not seeing any spark when I jumper it went out to start it today and was all most dead. took off batt. cables and cleaned them. so I thouht I should repolerize it. Been starting all winter :/
