Ford 5000 overreving
No sir it doesn't have a turbo on it. Is it possible to get this rust out and get things working properly WITHOUT rebuilding the injector pump?- swatkins27

So that would explain why shutting off the fuel wont kill it, essentially your not cutting the fuel if its still sticking? Would that still cause it to over rev?- swatkins27

New to the group and wanted to give thanks in advance, I'm hoping someone can help me out with am issue on my Ford 5000. So this tractor set up for about a year then after my dad passed I started getting it back to running. The off road fuel had turned to sludge so first thing was new gas tank...- swatkins27
