    My loader cylinder was leaking and I replaced the O-Rings on both ends and the leather cup. I can't figure out how to replace the wiper seal and small O ring on the Rod end. Do the cylinder heads come off the rod? Are the pins holding them in press fit? They look like roll pins but they are...

    630 Hydraulic fluid leak at Dual Remote Cylinder Valve

    Just ordered SM-2022 Service Manuel for "CUSTOM POWR-TROL" hope this was the right one.. My unit leaks at where the "Dual Remote Cylinder Valve" housing bolts to the adapter and a smaller leak where the Control Arm goes in. Can you tell me if this is a gasket and oil seal issue or something...

    From a comment years ago on this board I've always added a 2oz bottle of 2 cycle oil to each tank of gas- using it for a 1958 JD630

    Opened up Steering Valve to see if it was stuck instead it came right out! The retainer bolt had sheared! Don;t know what would have made that happen but could be root cause for all the problems. Thx

    Actually only intended to work on radiator. ..PS system is next project and i will get the book sm2050. Thx i had to disconnect worm housing to take out radiator...didn't think i was messing with valve until it didn't work afterwards

    Paul, Do you fill up before loosening/adjusting the housing? I get significant fluid loss when I tried adjusting with fluid to the fill line.

    I have read every post regarding re-centering the worm housing with no luck. Replaced radiator and disconnected steering housing. After putting back together- self steers hard to left- raised wheels off ground, drained some fluid (used 10-40 motor oil due to leak that I want to find later)...
