    JD 4250 transmission pressure light

    The light and horn come on when rpms's are over 1500, I have a new sending unit on, my trans pressure is 180 psi at 2000 rpm, the wiring harness seems to be ok, what am I missing? When I idle down the rpms to 800 everything goes off.

    this is sort of embarrissing but my pressure relief valve nut was loose and it has backed off the valve, the book says to not close off pressure relief valve completely, so does that mean to not turn it all the way in? How do you when your at max cfm?

    found the problem, it was the new line the evaporator inlet line where the low pressure switch goes on. defective part, the fitting had a flat spot on it where as it should have been bevelled.
