    just bought a 1020 (late 1970 model) and could not get the hydraulic hoses for remote cylinder to connect. couplers connect to my other late model Deere tractors. Does the 1020 use old style barrel shaped hose couplers?

    60 fuel bowl leak

    Those fuel bowls are thin and subject to bending if over tightened. Just because the nut is large don't think you have to pull the wrench with both hands. New gaskets won't work. I take the bowl and place it on a solid flat surface and gently tap the bottom back to flat original condition...

    John Deere 750 dozer

    On that model a clutch disc in the splitter box drives two driveshafts to the right and left transmission pumps/motors. Remove the floor panel to see if both the driveshafts are turning. I suspect clutch disc failure as hydraulic pump drives off the rear of the splitter box too.
