    New vehicle commercials dominate the advertising when I watch TV. No wonder...... I don't know how anybody can afford to buy one at today's prices with all the gadgets that designers decided the motoring public needed......and then comes the insurance bill to cover all those gadgets!!!!!!!

    Need to replace my headgasket, looking for instructions

    On replacing the head gasket, I usually checked the flatness of the head and if not flat, off to the machine shop......and if I had the head off, off to the machine shop anyway to have the valves tuned up.     If you are replying to me, Amine is supposed to be the water based product and I never had a problem around trees with it. The problem was with Grazon P+D....the Piclorate part was the problem as I understand.

    For something weighing a posted 8+ tons, I think the article mentioned that the M3 had a 157 HP engine....for that kind of fuel consumption gears must have been higher than 4:11.

    Longest pocket tape measure I have ever seen

    I have a couple of 35's along with numbers shorter and a couple of 6 footers. Also have 100' tapes for building jobs but they aren't pocket items. Most of my "pocket" tapes get clipped on my pocket or belt.
