    WC to WD wheel swap

Thanks for the info folks. The assumption that I miss spoke about the WD to WD was right, I meant WC to WD. Damn shame that those new rears on that WC are not such a deal. Thanks again.

    WC to WD wheel swap

Hi Allis gods. My son has a WD with the spin adjustable rear wheels and they are shot and so are his tires. He found a WD with good tires and wheels but they are not the spin adjustable type. Is there anyway those wheels and tires will work on the WD?

    WD Snap Coupler/Drawbar release

I'd get a chunk of chain that I knew was too long, attach it to either the top or bottom, figure out how long it needs to be and cut it to fit.

    Farmall H Lead

What the other folks have posted is true and correct when buying any old tractor. Only thing I can think of not mentioned is in cold climates it was common for the water that builds up in the rear end and trans to freeze. Some folks would rock the tractor back and forth to break up the ice so...

Identifying production year of Farmall H by sight

The seats were different but many early seats were replaced with what was considered a seat easier on the hind quarters. I own a 1940 with the tall oil filter and trough in the floor plate but a newer seat.

ca front timing cover oil seal

I think my repair manual tells you to start the engine with the bolts loose to allow the cover to center. I thought that sounded a bit strange. It's a project I need to do to my B but have been putting off just using a drip pan when I park it.

Another thing a WD is handy for

    Um... yeah, nope.

    What is this?

I don't think it's a stand alone tool but rather part of a bigger contraption.

    Bushhog with Farmall B

Another option would be to look for a used self powered brush hog and a 6 foot belly mower. Wack it down with the hog and keep it up with the belly mower. You could either sell the hog when you are done or keep it in case it ever gets away from you again.

    Bushhog with Farmall B

I use a 5 footer behind a worn out H but don't cut anything but tall grass and weeds 5-6 foot tall. Use an overrun clutch and 1st gear it is all the poor thing can do. I had the mower before the tractor so that's why I even do it in the first place. Really needs 30 hp or more.

    Nut crackers

For those that have the "Robogrip" pliers, it's about time to wash em off and put them by the nut bowl. They are the best nut cracker I've found, walnut to filbert. Really the best use I've found for them.

    CA Mag issues

Got me stumped. My boys tractor has ran great for years. Always started easy by hand. Then, when the engine got warm it would die and restart after it cooled. Then nothing. Replaced plugs, coil, condenser and polished the points (new ones were junk). I checked to see that the kill switch wasn't...

    CA Mag issues

Not lost. If I switch to "classic view" it drops me and I need to log in again but it won't let me log in. I went to my profile and set my email to open. Don't know if that will do anything. Just talked to the boy, he will bring the mag up to me this sunday. Not too worried about trolls on yt...
