    And how about the decals? So fancy for the 1940s. The shadowed lines on top, the black and yellow detail on the sides for the 3 dimension perspective. And the hood says twin power. But I don't remember seeing new decals for 101 that have that level of detail and contrast and shadowing...

    Definitely a ferguson 35 by location of transmission vent and the block off plate for aux hydraulics and the shift pattern on the transmission is also 35. I have heard of top covers breaking like that but have never seen one

    Are both the same model of auto trans? Could be 727 or 904 Yes they should interchange. Early 60s had some different crankshaft lengths. But a 78 to an 80 And both small block, should be just fine Long live the leaning tower of power
