    It was the shaft seal, but I'm not sure about the play in the bushing... is there anything else i should check before taking the pump off again? I'm having problems finding parts also. Do you have any suggestions for parts?

    I'm getting fuel in the crankcase... we changed the injector pump gasket but I'm still filling up after about an hour of running. Any suggestions where to go next? It has the D179 engine

    Thanks Bern for the reply... Are you talking about the internal seals and gaskets of the pump? I'm sorry, I don't know a whole lot about hydraulics. Is this something that is easily done? I have a rebuild kit for the pump, but I haven't had the nerve to tackle it yet
