    I the back of my old mind, something tells me its in the valve train, can something in there cause a loud knock, I had cars with bad crank bearing and this seem different, its not that loud thump type knock, its loud but a little higher pitched... Tim

    Well Bob, I cant remember the readings but plastigauged the crank every 1/3rd rotation and remember looking at the min. and min. and showed it was OK in the book.. But, that really doesnt mean its ok I guess.. Tim

    1956-TO35 Rear Axle Difference

    I have an axle for my tractor but see a difference, old axle has 6 bolt retainer, new one 12 bolt retainer but every other bolt on this one is the same distance apart as the 6 bolt. Seems like it will work, bearings and seals seem good so do you think I could just put the new one in. Thanks, Tim
