    Another funny

When I was a teenager, I helped a friend repair a old ford tramsmission. He spent about a month before he got the parts. We put it back together one afternoon and went to eat supper. My Dad asked did we have any parts left over. I thought a minute and remembered we left a snap ring off the front...

    Major Breakdown on the Farm

That was good picking. My wife bought me a banjo almost 5 years ago for our 50th anniversary. I still have not been able to play a lick. I love that music but I reckon I don't have the patience. I do like that string music and wish I could play a banjo or guitar. But after 74 years I probably...

    Re JD 790

I had a question several days back about my grandsons 790 JD. I had a reply suggesting hydraulic flow control need may have needed to be backed off a little. That seemed to fix it. 16 year old grandson mows with it and I reckon he or his friends tightened it down too much. Thanks for the reply.

    790

My grandson has a JD 790. The hitch raises ok but is real slow to lower. I am thinking maybe the hydraulic strainer is clogged. Do y'all have any suggestions ? Is ther a hydraulic filter also that he needs to change? Thanks Tommy

I've heard them all now! (trespass excuse)

Several years ago I was on a dirt road close to where I live. I came around a curve and there was lady bent over at the waist taking a bathroom break. When I realized what she was doing, I stopped before I got too close. I know she was embarressed but sometimes you do what you gotta do.
