    12v conversion and 6v lights

    If I convert to 12v from 6v can I put resistor before wire going to 6v lights? Can I use the 6v voltage regulator and run wire to lights or is upstream of regulator rated to low on the input side?

    My issue with my 631 that I had a hard time starting and to keep running. I unfortunately spent money that did not need to be spent. I had spark that looked good ...I rebuilt carb, got new plugs, cap,rotor,points and coil...did other things too that cost money but don't need the wife to know...

    I purchased a distributor and it says it works on multiple tractors, which is both the NAA and the 631. I have both tractors. My 631 was missing out and was heck to start and wouldn't stay running. Make a long story short, installed the new distributor and it starts right up. I can tell the old...
