    intake/exhaust bolt torque on 550 Oliver

    Does anyone know what the bolt torque should be for a 1965 550 Oliver intake/exhaust manifold bolts? I believe they are 3/8" fine thread going from memory.

    Hummm, there must have been a design change from '64 to '65 cause my PTO shaft/lever is seperate from the brake thru shaft??     Thx for the advice. I'll double check the torque on the 3 bolts, but was very careful after overtorquing and ruining one pressure plate already. I agree with your thought on having 2" of pedal travel versus the 1" I currently have to see if that helps and will try that next. On the slip plate...

    Nope, that can't be the case here. Even though the brake disks (rotors) weren't in the best of shape, I reused all four of them. I was too cheap to spend the ~$125 for a new set.
