    Good Torque Wrench?

Google precision instruments. They build the snap on stuff. Generally 1/4 cheaper.

    Hobart CR300

I got an old CR 300 Hobart with a Hobart 27 mig wire feeder. The coarse voltage selector is broken. Its the aluminum spider that engages the handle or selector handle and rotates the contacts. I can't seem to find a parts vendor or a source. Do any of you guys or gals know where I could find...

What do you think of my garage sale find, armstrong is good?

Bullet proof. That style is still in production and still made in the USA

    Northern industries Torches

Depends on what your doing. I personally do not like a combination torch. If your just cutting then a straight E torch will surfise from any of the big 3. Harris is Lincolns oxy fuel system, Smith is Millers, and Victor is Hypertherm. You'll find knock off tips for the victors before any other...

    Calling lance

You'll find Chuck or "Lanse"at Millerwelds on the forums over there. Some of the things that was said to that young man were rude over here. Constructive criticism is one thing but down right mean is another. He tries really hard and will succeed at what he sets in his goals.

    torque specs

Replace them. We have messed with this stuff enough to know that looks are deceiving. You don't know how they were torqued or how many times they've been used. Replace them .

    Hauling Oxygen Bottle

A mile and a half away is a little far fetched Doc. Just might be a little more wind than a snapped of valve in that statement. Not sayn' you wasn't there, not sayn' it didn't happen but with the math it wouldnt be possible. It'd have to have some help like stick in the belly of a low flying...

why is my torch getting goey inside ?

After some thought, stick welding is right. I probably wouldn't use acetone or anything else that's flammable.

why is my torch getting goey inside ?

The tip size has nothing to do with it. I don't really have a suggestion on what to clean it up with. Acetone would work well id think as it evaporates quickly and leaves no residue. I wouldn't get it on anything rubber tho. Make sure its completely dry before reassembly.

    Your 1st tool

Im thinking the first was a small SK 3/8 socket set which is long gone except the little green metal box it came in. The last was the Miller Syncrowave 350.
